Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including execution, confirmation, settlement, and reporting for various asset classes
  • Manage daily cash movements, ensuring accurate funding and liquidity across global markets
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce settlement risks
  • Collaborate with front-office traders, compliance teams, and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies
  • Monitor and mitigate operational risks, adhering to JP Morgan Chase's internal controls and regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for trade operations and report on metrics to senior management
  • Lead initiatives for system enhancements, integrating new technologies to streamline trade workflows
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity in trade books
  • Train and mentor junior staff on trade lifecycle best practices
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to market expansions or regulatory changes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade operations or lifecycle management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in overseeing cash movements and settlement processes in a high-volume trading environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and MiFID II
  • Experience with trade reconciliation and exception management in banking systems
