Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for trade support, ensuring seamless execution and settlement of cash equity and derivative trades across global markets
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade data between internal systems and external counterparties to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain robust control mechanisms to mitigate operational risks in trade lifecycle processes
  • Collaborate with front-office trading teams, middle-office risk managers, and back-office settlement groups to support end-to-end trade workflows
  • Monitor trade exceptions, investigate root causes, and escalate issues to senior management as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in JP Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank operations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including reporting on trade activities in Metro Manila hub
  • Provide training and guidance to junior associates on trade support best practices
  • Analyze trade data trends to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade operations, reconciliation, or support within financial services, preferably in cash equities or derivatives
  • Strong understanding of global financial markets, including equity and derivative instruments
  • Proficiency in trade lifecycle processes from execution to settlement
  • Experience with reconciliation tools and control frameworks in a high-volume trading environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team setting across multiple time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as CFA, FRM, or relevant trade operations qualifications
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in APAC markets, including SEC and BSP guidelines
  • Familiarity with automation tools for trade processing and data analytics
