Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle for foreign exchange payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Drive quality assurance processes to minimize errors in transaction processing and settlement
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with FX trades, including market, credit, and liquidity risks
  • Collaborate with trading desks, operations teams, and compliance groups to streamline workflows and resolve discrepancies
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for payment efficiency and error rates
  • Lead process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the speed and reliability of FX payment executions
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in a dynamic team environment
  • Conduct regular audits and reporting on trade lifecycle activities to senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting foreign exchange operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, foreign exchange operations, or payments processing within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and MiFID II for FX transactions
  • Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, CLS), and trade settlement processes
  • Experience in risk mitigation and quality control for high-volume transaction environments
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global banking setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or FRM
