Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle for custody operations, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reporting for global clients
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade positions, cash balances, and corporate actions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide oversight and escalation support for trade exceptions, working closely with front-office, middle-office, and external counterparties
  • Monitor and mitigate operational risks in trade processing, adhering to JP Morgan Chase's risk management frameworks
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement enhancements in trade lifecycle systems like Aladdin or proprietary platforms
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client reporting, including NAV calculations and performance analytics
  • Support regulatory audits and contribute to the development of policies for custody services
  • Train and mentor junior team members on trade lifecycle best practices and JP Morgan's operational standards
  • Analyze trade data to identify trends and recommend process optimizations for efficiency gains
  • Liaise with global stakeholders to resolve complex trade issues in a multi-time zone environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, custody operations, or securities processing within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of global trade settlement processes, including T+1 and T+2 cycles
  • Proficiency in reconciliation tools and exception management in a high-volume environment
  • Experience working with global clients in custody services, including asset managers and pension funds
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment with shift rotations

Preferred Qualifications
