Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle for global custody assets, ensuring timely settlement and reconciliation
  • Manage daily cash movements and funding activities to optimize liquidity and minimize risks
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs across trade operations
  • Collaborate with global teams in sales, trading, and compliance to support client needs in custody services
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including SEC, FATCA, and local Philippines regulations
  • Analyze trade data to identify discrepancies, resolve exceptions, and report on key performance metrics
  • Lead initiatives for system enhancements and automation in trade processing workflows
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to team development in the Philippines operations hub
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement controls for custody operations to safeguard client assets
  • Liaise with external custodians, brokers, and counterparties to facilitate seamless trade execution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in trade operations, custody services, or financial services operations
  • Proven expertise in global custody processes, including trade lifecycle management and settlement
  • Strong understanding of cash management, funding operations, and regulatory requirements in the financial industry
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Tagalog are advantageous for the Philippines location

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or FRM
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JPMorgan Chase in trade operations
  • Knowledge of Asian financial markets and regulatory frameworks
