Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate trade settlements for various asset classes, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Reconcile trade data across front, middle, and back office systems to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with trading desks, custodians, and counterparties to manage settlement risks and exceptions
  • Monitor and report on settlement fails, breaks, and aging positions to minimize operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and JPMorgan Chase policies
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives in trade lifecycle management
  • Analyze settlement workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in a global operations environment
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on settlement procedures
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects, such as system migrations or regulatory change implementations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and regulatory purposes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade settlements, operations, or a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, including settlement, clearing, and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in financial markets, instruments such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements like Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or MiFID II
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
