Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately capture and process all trading transactions in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Perform daily reconciliation checks between front-office trades and back-office records to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct control procedures to ensure data integrity and mitigate operational risks
  • Collaborate with trading desks, operations teams, and compliance to support seamless trade execution
  • Monitor trade exceptions and escalate issues to senior management as needed
  • Generate reports on trade volumes, settlements, and performance metrics for stakeholders
  • Assist in the implementation of new trading products or system enhancements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all trade support activities and audit trails
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes related to trading services

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in trade support, operations, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and transaction lifecycles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data processing tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with trade capture systems such as Murex or Calypso
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Latin American markets
  • Prior internship or role at a global financial institution
  • Certification in financial operations (e.g., CFA Level 1 or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with reconciliation processes in trading environments
