Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for trade execution, confirmation, and settlement across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Monitor and resolve trade discrepancies, breaks, and exceptions in real-time to ensure accurate book reconciliation
  • Collaborate with front office traders, sales teams, and external counterparties to facilitate smooth trade processing
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade data between internal systems and custodian records
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance checks for trades in accordance with global standards like MiFID II and EMIR
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Handle ad-hoc queries from stakeholders and contribute to risk management by identifying potential issues
  • Document trade support activities and maintain accurate records for audit purposes
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on market changes and firm policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 2-5 years of prior professional experience in financial services, banking, or trade operations
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trade lifecycle, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish fluency is essential for the Buenos Aires location
  • Eligibility for the JP Morgan Chase Global ReEntry Program, including a career break of at least 2 years
  • Ability to obtain necessary work authorization in Argentina
  • Commitment to a seasonal role duration of 6-12 months with potential for extension
