Key Responsibilities

  • Lead origination efforts for trade and working capital finance products, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with corporate clients
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow JPMorgan Chase's global trade finance portfolio, targeting industries such as manufacturing, commodities, and energy
  • Manage end-to-end client relationships, from initial pitch to deal structuring and execution, ensuring alignment with client needs and bank risk policies
  • Collaborate with internal teams including credit risk, legal, and product specialists to deliver customized trade solutions
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client financials to recommend optimal working capital strategies
  • Conduct due diligence on potential trade transactions, mitigating risks associated with geopolitical, currency, and supply chain disruptions
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, industry events, and referrals within JPMorgan's global network
  • Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and financial models to senior executives and C-suite clients

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in trade finance, working capital solutions, or global trade sales within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in originating and closing trade finance deals, with a focus on corporate clients in international markets
  • Deep knowledge of trade finance products including letters of credit, supply chain finance, and export financing
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and international trade compliance
  • Experience working with multinational corporations and financial institutions in cross-border transactions
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed to build and maintain client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA, FRM, or similar professional certification in finance
  • Experience in the Asia-Pacific or emerging markets trade finance sector
  • Prior leadership role in a sales team focused on corporate banking solutions
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or another major international business language
