Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs) and Bank Guarantees, ensuring compliance with client instructions and regulatory requirements
  • Verify documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to international standards like UCP 600
  • Monitor transaction statuses, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to facilitate timely settlements
  • Assess risks associated with trade finance products and escalate issues to senior management as needed
  • Support working capital optimization by analyzing client needs and recommending appropriate financing solutions
  • Maintain accurate records in JPMorgan's systems and generate reports for audit and compliance purposes
  • Collaborate with global teams to handle cross-border transactions and provide exceptional client service
  • Stay updated on changes in trade finance regulations and implement process improvements
  • Assist in training junior associates on specialty product processing
  • Contribute to departmental goals by identifying efficiencies in transaction workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade finance, letters of credit, or bank guarantees
