Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle for alternative assets, including execution, confirmation, and settlement
  • Collaborate with trading desks, portfolio managers, and operations teams to ensure seamless trade processing
  • Perform daily reconciliations of trade data across multiple systems to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations for alternative investments
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce settlement risks in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in onboarding new alternative asset products and integrating them into existing workflows
  • Generate reports on trade performance and lifecycle metrics for senior management review
  • Liaise with custodians, counterparties, and clearinghouses to facilitate timely settlements
  • Contribute to team initiatives aimed at fostering growth and innovation in alternative assets trading

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in trade lifecycle management, settlement operations, or similar roles within financial services
  • Strong understanding of alternative assets including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and derivatives
  • Proficiency in trade execution processes and regulatory compliance standards such as SEC and FINRA requirements
  • Experience with settlement systems and reconciliation processes in a high-volume trading environment
  • Ability to handle complex financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or Series 7
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase in asset management or trading operations
