Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily trade validation, confirmation, and settlement processes for various asset classes
  • Monitor trading activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with front office traders and back office teams to resolve trade discrepancies and exceptions
  • Prepare and analyze trade reports, P&L reconciliations, and risk metrics using Excel and proprietary tools
  • Assist in the implementation of new trading products or system enhancements
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Provide timely responses to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of trade flows and operational controls
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to trading services optimization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial services, trading operations, or middle office functions
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • U.S. work authorization without need for sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with trade lifecycle management in equities, fixed income, or derivatives
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's internal systems or similar trading platforms like Murex or Calypso
  • Familiarity with SEC, FINRA, or other financial regulations
  • Prior internship or role in a middle office capacity at a major financial institution
  • CFA Level I candidate or equivalent certification in progress
