Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end processing of commercial real estate loans, including application review, documentation, and funding execution
  • Manage ongoing servicing activities such as payment processing, escrow administration, and borrower communications
  • Conduct due diligence on loan collateral, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor loan portfolios for performance issues, covenant compliance, and risk indicators
  • Collaborate with trading desks, relationship managers, and legal teams to facilitate smooth loan transactions
  • Utilize JP Morgan's proprietary systems to track and report on loan statuses and financial metrics
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies in loan data and coordinating amendments or modifications
  • Support audit and regulatory reporting for commercial real estate loan activities
  • Contribute to process improvements in trading services to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate loan processing, servicing, or trading services within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate lending practices, including loan documentation, funding, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software used for loan management and servicing
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive transactions
  • Knowledge of U.S. banking regulations, such as those from the OCC and FDIC, relevant to real estate financing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or CRE
  • Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
  • Familiarity with syndicated loan structures and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS)
  • Prior exposure to end-to-end loan lifecycle management in a trading services environment
