Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in agency securities lending, including trade booking, confirmation, and settlement processes
• Monitor and manage collateral positions to ensure compliance with risk and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with trading desks, middle office, and external counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies and operational issues
• Analyze lending portfolios for performance metrics, risk exposure, and optimization opportunities
• Implement and maintain operational controls to mitigate risks in securities finance activities
• Support the development and testing of new trading systems and process improvements within the JP Morgan Chase ecosystem
• Prepare reports on lending activities, including daily P&L reconciliation and regulatory filings
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to team training on best practices in trading services
• Ensure adherence to global standards such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and local Philippine regulations
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance efficiency in the Agency Lending Operations team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in securities finance operations, trading services, or related financial operations roles
• Strong understanding of agency securities lending, collateral management, and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, or similar platforms used in trading and operations
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and resolve operational discrepancies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification such as CFA, FRM, or Series 7 equivalent
• Experience in agency MBS (Mortgage-Backed Securities) lending or repo operations at a major financial institution
• Prior exposure to JP Morgan Chase's internal systems and processes
• Knowledge of Philippine financial regulations and international compliance standards
• Demonstrated project management experience in operational enhancements
