Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end trade execution for equities, fixed income, and derivatives across global markets
  • Monitor and reconcile trade data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency in trade lifecycle operations
  • Collaborate with trading desks, middle office, and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks
  • Perform daily risk assessments and escalate potential issues to senior management
  • Utilize analytical tools to generate reports on trade volumes, settlements, and performance metrics
  • Assist in the implementation of new trading technologies and system integrations
  • Ensure timely resolution of trade breaks and discrepancies in settlement processes
  • Contribute to training junior team members on best practices in trading services
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes impacting trade operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, trading operations, or trade lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of trade execution processes and regulatory requirements in global markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel for data analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive tasks
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with trade settlement systems such as SWIFT or DTCC
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks in investment banking
  • Familiarity with Indian financial regulations and SEBI guidelines
  • Certification in financial operations (e.g., CFA Level 1 or Operations Professional certification)
  • Prior exposure to process automation tools like RPA or scripting languages
