Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and support high-volume trade processing, ensuring timely and accurate settlement across various asset classes
  • Monitor and manage trading risks, including pre-trade validation, real-time surveillance, and post-trade reconciliation
  • Collaborate with traders, operations teams, and compliance to resolve trade discrepancies and exceptions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks
  • Generate and analyze reports on trade performance, risk metrics, and regulatory compliance for senior management
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and external regulations in all trading activities
  • Support system testing and integration for new trading technologies or platform upgrades at JP Morgan Chase
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on trading services best practices
  • Liaise with external counterparties and clearinghouses to facilitate smooth trade execution
  • Contribute to audit preparations and respond to regulatory inquiries related to trading operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trading services, trade execution, or financial operations within the banking or securities industry
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trade lifecycle, and regulatory requirements such as SEC, FINRA, and Dodd-Frank
  • Proficiency in trade processing systems and risk management tools used in high-volume trading environments
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex trade reconciliations and exception management
