Based in our London office, you will lead the development of advanced models to quantify transition risks—arising from shifts in climate policies, technologies, and markets—that could impact our clients' portfolios and the firm's overall resilience. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage cutting-edge data analytics to drive informed decision-making, ensuring JPMorgan Chase remains a leader in sustainable finance while navigating the challenges of a low-carbon economy transition. Your core responsibilities will include building and refining quantitative models using climate scenarios from sources like the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), conducting impact assessments on credit and market risks, and collaborating with business lines to embed these insights into strategic planning. You will work closely with experts in sustainability, compliance, and quantitative research to align models with regulatory expectations, such as those from the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the European Central Bank. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to translate complex climate data into actionable business solutions that support our commitment to net-zero ambitions. JPMorgan Chase offers a dynamic environment where innovation meets impact, with opportunities to influence firmwide policies on climate resilience. Joining our London team, you will contribute to high-stakes projects that shape the future of risk management in financial services, while benefiting from world-class resources and a culture that values diverse perspectives.
