Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize capital allocation for secured financing transactions to meet JP Morgan Chase's treasury objectives
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations governing capital usage in repurchase agreements and collateralized financing
  • Perform daily monitoring and reconciliation of capital positions related to secured financing activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including treasury, risk management, and legal to assess and mitigate capital risks
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast capital needs and impacts from secured transactions
  • Prepare and present capital reports to senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Support internal audits and regulatory examinations focused on treasury capital controls
  • Identify opportunities to enhance capital efficiency in secured financing portfolios
  • Assist in the implementation of new regulatory requirements affecting capital management
  • Contribute to process improvements in capital controlling workflows within the Controller function

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in treasury, capital management, or financial controlling within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of secured financing transactions, including repurchase agreements and collateralized lending
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and SEC reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel or similar tools
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification
