Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial controls and reporting processes for TCIO's treasury and investment activities
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and risk assessment
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, forecasts, and variance analyses for senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Monitor investment portfolios and liquidity positions to mitigate financial risks
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for TCIO initiatives
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and provide insights on market trends impacting investments
  • Support audit processes and ensure timely resolution of control deficiencies
  • Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting and operational efficiency
  • Liaise with global stakeholders to align TCIO strategies with firm-wide objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial controlling, treasury operations, or investment analysis within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards, including IFRS and local Hong Kong regulations
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA (or progress towards)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience in treasury management or chief investment office roles at a major financial institution
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and investment portfolio strategies
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar financial data platforms
