Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with middle market clients to provide tailored treasury management and commercial term lending solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Portland, OR territory to grow the client portfolio
  • Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend JP Morgan Chase products such as lines of credit, term loans, and cash flow management tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams including credit analysts and product specialists to structure financing deals
  • Monitor client portfolios for performance, risks, and opportunities to cross-sell additional services
  • Deliver presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value of JP Morgan's global resources
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies
  • Track market trends in the financial services industry to advise clients on optimal treasury strategies
  • Participate in community and industry events to enhance JP Morgan Chase's brand presence in the region
  • Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, revenue targets, and client satisfaction metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial banking, treasury management, or term lending
  • Proven track record in sales and relationship management within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of middle market client needs and financial solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and networking events
  • Series 6 or 7 license preferred, or willingness to obtain
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and credit underwriting

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • Experience working with JP Morgan Chase or similar large financial institutions
  • Knowledge of treasury management products like cash management and liquidity solutions
