Responsibilities include conducting in-depth financial analyses, presenting tailored proposals that highlight JP Morgan Chase's market-leading products such as JPMorgan Access® for real-time treasury visibility, and closing deals that expand our footprint in the Northeast. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new treasury management opportunities with State and Local Governments in the Mid-Atlantic Region
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key government decision-makers and financial officers
  • Conduct needs assessments to recommend tailored JP Morgan Chase treasury solutions, including cash pooling, investment management, and fraud prevention tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product specialists and risk management to deliver comprehensive financial services
  • Monitor client portfolios to ensure optimal use of treasury products and identify upsell opportunities
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting government finance and advise clients accordingly
  • Prepare and present business proposals, RFPs, and financial analyses to secure new business
  • Represent JP Morgan Chase at industry events, government conferences, and networking forums in the Northeast
  • Achieve sales targets for treasury management revenue growth in the assigned territory
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and JP Morgan Chase policies in client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, commercial banking, or financial services sales targeting government entities
  • Proven track record in generating new business and managing client relationships in the public sector
  • Deep knowledge of State and Local Government financial operations, including budgeting, cash management, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong understanding of treasury products such as cash management, liquidity solutions, and payment processing
  • Ability to travel within the Mid-Atlantic Region as needed
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent certifications preferred for financial advisory roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or certification in public finance or treasury management (e.g., CTP - Certified Treasury Professional)
  • Experience working with Northeast Government clients in the Mid-Atlantic area, including familiarity with regional economic trends
  • Previous roles in relationship management at a major financial institution
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to engage diverse government stakeholders
