Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and fund transfers for the Asset and Wealth Management division
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize working capital and minimize funding costs
  • Monitor and manage investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with risk tolerance and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and currency fluctuations
  • Prepare detailed reports on treasury performance, liquidity metrics, and forecasting accuracy for senior leadership
  • Oversee compliance with internal policies and external regulations, conducting audits and implementing controls
  • Drive process improvements in treasury workflows using automation and data analytics
  • Support strategic initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, or new product launches in wealth management
  • Mentor junior associates and contribute to treasury team development
  • Analyze market trends to inform investment decisions and treasury policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of liquidity management, forecasting, and risk assessment in asset and wealth management
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Excel and treasury management systems
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in banking and financial services, including SEC and FDIC guidelines
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams in a high-stakes financial environment
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) in Finance or related discipline
  • 7+ years in treasury roles within a major financial institution
  • Experience with investment portfolio management in wealth management
  • Knowledge of global treasury operations and foreign exchange risk management
