Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a portfolio of trusts for JP Morgan Chase Workplace Solutions, ensuring compliance with Jersey trust laws and fiduciary duties
  • Conduct regular reviews and distributions for trust assets, coordinating with investment teams to align with client objectives
  • Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and external advisors to provide expert guidance on trust matters
  • Prepare and file trust accounts, tax returns, and regulatory reports in accordance with local and international standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks in trust structures, including AML/KYC assessments and conflict of interest management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at JP Morgan Chase to integrate trust services with broader wealth management offerings
  • Mentor junior trust officers and contribute to the development of trust administration policies
  • Monitor changes in legislation and market conditions to advise on trust strategy adjustments
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for all trust activities within JP Morgan's secure platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in trust administration or fiduciary services within the financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Jersey trust law, UK tax regulations, and international fiduciary standards
  • Professional certification such as STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) or equivalent
  • Proven track record in managing high-net-worth client portfolios and complex trust structures
  • Strong understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-client (KYC) compliance requirements
  • Experience working in an offshore financial center, preferably Jersey or similar jurisdiction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or qualification in trusts and estates, such as TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner)
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's internal systems and processes for trust administration
