Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to UK regulators such as the PRA and FCA in compliance with all applicable guidelines
  • Analyze financial data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory submissions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, risk, and compliance to gather necessary data for reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of regulatory reporting workflows
  • Monitor regulatory changes and updates from UK authorities, assessing their impact on JP Morgan Chase's reporting obligations
  • Perform reconciliations and validations of financial data to mitigate reporting risks
  • Support internal and external audits related to financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting procedures and controls
  • Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc regulatory reports and responses to regulatory inquiries

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting or financial reporting within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, including PRA and FCA reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software
  • Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity
  • Relevant certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's) in Finance or Accounting
  • Prior experience working with JP Morgan Chase or similar global banks
  • Familiarity with Basel III regulations and IFRS standards
  • Experience in cross-border regulatory reporting for UK entities
  • Knowledge of automation tools for regulatory reporting processes
