Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives for U.S. medical benefits programs, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's overall compensation and benefits philosophy
  • Lead the design, negotiation, and implementation of medical, dental, and vision benefit plans, ensuring cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction
  • Analyze healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and market benchmarks to recommend enhancements to benefits offerings
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Legal teams, to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as HIPAA and COBRA
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and brokers to optimize medical benefits delivery and control costs
  • Conduct financial modeling and forecasting for benefits budgets, presenting insights to senior leadership
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives related to medical benefits, including open enrollment communications and wellness programs
  • Monitor benefits utilization data to identify opportunities for innovation, such as value-based care models
  • Support M&A activities by integrating acquired entities' benefits into JP Morgan Chase's framework

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in benefits design, strategy, and implementation, with a focus on medical benefits in a large corporate environment
  • Proven track record in leading medical benefits initiatives within the financial services industry, including compliance with ERISA and ACA regulations
  • Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare landscape, including vendor management for medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Experience in financial modeling and cost analysis for employee benefits programs
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, regulated financial institution
  • Excellent project management skills with experience using tools like Workday or similar HRIS systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or equivalent certification
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, handling benefits for a workforce exceeding 50,000 employees
