Key Responsibilities

  • Process and review final pay calculations for US employees, ensuring accuracy in deductions, taxes, and benefits
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and support employee inquiries
  • Drive automation initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in payroll workflows and implementing system enhancements
  • Maintain compliance with US payroll laws, including FLSA, IRS regulations, and state-specific requirements
  • Conduct audits and reconciliations of payroll data to minimize errors and financial risks
  • Support month-end and quarter-end payroll closings, including reporting for financial statements
  • Train junior team members on payroll best practices and system usage
  • Monitor and analyze payroll metrics to recommend process improvements and cost-saving measures
  • Liaise with external vendors for payroll-related services, such as tax filings and benefits administration
  • Contribute to special projects, such as system migrations or regulatory updates in a financial services context

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Proficiency in payroll processing systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar enterprise software
  • Strong understanding of US federal and state payroll regulations, including tax withholding and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive payroll transactions with accuracy
