Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high net worth clients in the Chicago market, providing tailored financial advice on investments, lending, and wealth preservation
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning sessions, including portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and goal-setting aligned with J.P. Morgan's holistic advisory approach
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as investment strategists, trust officers, and credit specialists to deliver integrated solutions for client needs
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach to grow assets under management
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to proactively advise clients on portfolio adjustments and risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure all client interactions and recommendations comply with J.P. Morgan's risk management policies and federal regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or high net worth client advisory roles
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, or equivalent
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios exceeding $10 million in assets under management
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, estate planning, and tax strategies in the U.S. financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, and banking compliance standards
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and business development in the Midwest region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFP certification
  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWIs) in family office services
