Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high net worth clients, providing tailored financial advice on investments, lending, and wealth transfer strategies
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive wealth management plans, integrating JP Morgan's investment banking, asset management, and commercial banking services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Washington, DC market, targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including investment advisors, trust officers, and credit specialists to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Monitor portfolio performance and market trends, adjusting strategies to align with client goals and risk tolerances
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and fiduciary standards set by the SEC and FINRA
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the U.S. Private Bank in the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Represent JP Morgan Chase at industry events, networking with policymakers and affluent professionals in the DC area
  • Conduct regular client reviews and performance reporting using JP Morgan's proprietary tools and analytics platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or high net worth client advisory within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios exceeding $100 million in assets under management
  • Active Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses, or equivalent FINRA registrations
  • Deep understanding of U.S. tax laws, estate planning, and investment strategies for ultra-high-net-worth individuals
  • Experience in a client-facing role at a premier financial institution, with a focus on holistic financial planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or JD from an accredited institution
  • Prior experience working with JP Morgan Chase or a comparable global investment bank
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to Washington, DC's international client base
