Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high net worth clients in the Grand Rapids area, providing tailored financial advice and solutions
  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning, including investment management, retirement strategies, and wealth transfer planning
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase's network of specialists in lending, trust services, and alternative investments to deliver holistic advisory services
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local community to grow the client portfolio
  • Monitor market trends and economic conditions to adjust client portfolios and mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SEC and FINRA guidelines, in all client interactions
  • Prepare and present customized financial reports and performance analyses to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall success of the U.S. Private Bank team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory services for high net worth individuals
  • Active Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses (or equivalent) required
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios exceeding $50 million in assets under management
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, estate planning, and tax strategies in the U.S. financial services sector
  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth clients in a boutique or private banking environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFP certification
  • Prior experience at a leading financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or a peer firm
  • Familiarity with Midwest market dynamics and high net worth client base in Michigan
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language relevant to client demographics
