Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high net worth clients in the Rochester area, providing holistic financial planning and advisory services

  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase's network of specialists in lending, philanthropy, and family office services to deliver integrated wealth solutions
  • Source and onboard new clients through referrals, networking events, and community involvement in Rochester's affluent circles
  • Monitor portfolio performance and market conditions to proactively adjust strategies and mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with all internal JP Morgan policies and external regulations while maintaining the highest standards of client confidentiality
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, proposals, and presentations to articulate value propositions and drive business growth

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or high net worth client advisory within the financial services industry
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) securities licenses, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios exceeding $50 million in assets under management
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, estate planning, tax strategies, and credit solutions tailored to ultra-high net worth individuals
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, and banking compliance standards
  • Experience in the Rochester, NY market or Northeast region with established local networks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification
  • Prior experience at a premier financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or a Big Four bank
