Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, including interviews and surveys, to inform design decisions in the financial services domain
  • Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and user testing to enhance customer experience in mobile and web applications
  • Ensure designs comply with JP Morgan Chase's branding guidelines and regulatory requirements for financial products
  • Work closely with engineering teams to implement seamless user interfaces for trading, payments, and wealth management tools
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable design components within the firm's design system
  • Analyze user data and metrics to optimize UX for high-stakes financial transactions
  • Advocate for user-centric approaches in cross-functional meetings and sprint planning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in financial services or fintech
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects in complex digital products
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and developers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for regulated industries like banking or payments
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and design systems
  • Advanced degree in UX/UI design or related discipline
