Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of multimodal AI systems that integrate natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics to support financial decision-making
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities that enhance user experience in areas like personalized banking, risk modeling, and fraud prevention
• Oversee the implementation of cognitive AI models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or IBM Watson, ensuring scalability and integration with JPMorgan Chase's core banking platforms
• Conduct research and experimentation on human-AI interaction paradigms to improve decision accuracy and user trust in high-stakes financial applications
• Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory standards, including bias mitigation, explainability, and data security protocols specific to the financial industry
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the Predictive Science team, driving adoption of best practices in AI engineering
• Analyze performance metrics of deployed AI systems and iterate on optimizations to reduce latency and improve outcomes in real-time trading or customer service scenarios
• Partner with cross-functional teams to prototype and deploy AI-enhanced tools that streamline operations, such as automated compliance checks or intelligent advisory systems
• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and technologies, applying them to solve complex challenges in JPMorgan Chase's global financial services ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) strongly preferred
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cognitive systems or multimodal AI applications
• Proven track record in designing and deploying AI systems in a financial services environment, including handling sensitive data and regulatory compliance
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks and cognitive computing technologies, with experience in human-AI interaction design
• Strong understanding of financial decision-making processes and how AI can enhance risk assessment, fraud detection, and customer advisory services
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments, with a focus on iterative development and stakeholder collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in AI, Cognitive Science, or related discipline with publications in human-AI systems
• Prior experience at a major financial institution, such as developing AI solutions for trading, compliance, or wealth management
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal AI platforms or similar enterprise-scale AI infrastructures
• Certifications in AI ethics, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), or financial regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC)

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for AI model development
