Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions for document management and information extraction in JPMorgan Chase's financial operations
• Innovate predictive models to automate the transformation of unstructured data into actionable insights for risk assessment and compliance
• Collaborate with business units to identify AI opportunities in areas like loan processing, trade finance, and regulatory reporting
• Oversee a team of AI/ML engineers, mentoring on best practices for model training, validation, and ethical AI deployment
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to JPMorgan's risk management frameworks and financial industry standards
• Integrate AI models with existing enterprise systems, optimizing for scalability and performance in high-volume financial workflows
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies to enhance document intelligence capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) and information extraction
• Proven track record of leading AI/ML projects in financial services or regulated industries
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with deploying AI models at scale in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations like GDPR and financial compliance standards (e.g., SEC, FINRA)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in AI, ML, or related field
• Experience in document AI for financial documents such as contracts, invoices, or regulatory filings
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and platforms for AI development
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional ML Engineer)
• Prior leadership role in agile teams delivering AI solutions in banking or fintech
