  • Advise on regulatory compliance for AI technologies, ensuring adherence to laws on data privacy, consumer protection, and anti-discrimination in banking operations
  • Draft and negotiate contracts related to AI vendors, partnerships, and licensing agreements to mitigate risks in the financial sector
  • Conduct legal risk assessments for advanced technologies, identifying potential liabilities in areas like algorithmic trading and fraud detection
  • Collaborate with JPMorganChase's technology and innovation teams to develop AI governance policies and ethical guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience in technology, data privacy, or intellectual property law, preferably in financial services
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies, including regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, and AI-specific guidelines
  • Experience advising on AI ethics, bias mitigation, and compliance in a corporate environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and business leaders
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills with the ability to draft complex legal documents
