Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, assessment, and challenge of fraud and credit abuse risks across Chase Auto’s Origination and Collections functions, including the Dealer network
  • Develop and implement strategic fraud oversight programs to enhance risk controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, and Technology, to design and deploy effective fraud detection and prevention measures
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of fraud trends, credit abuse patterns, and emerging risks using advanced analytics tools
  • Oversee the validation and testing of fraud risk models, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise risk management framework
  • Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on fraud risk mitigation strategies and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party dealers and vendors to mitigate external fraud exposures

  • Proven leadership experience in overseeing risk oversight teams, including managing cross-functional projects in origination and collections
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as those from the OCC, CFPB, and anti-money laundering (AML) standards applicable to auto lending
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and fraud patterns using tools like SQL, Python, or SAS in a banking environment
