Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data publishing strategies to support JP Morgan Chase's firmwide data governance framework
  • Collaborate with data owners and stewards to ensure high-quality metadata and data lineage documentation
  • Enable self-service data access for business users while maintaining compliance with financial regulations
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize data publishing processes across asset management, investment banking, and consumer banking divisions
  • Analyze data usage patterns and recommend enhancements to data strategy enablement tools and platforms
  • Facilitate training and adoption of data publishing best practices among global teams
  • Monitor and report on key metrics for data strategy effectiveness, including data quality and accessibility
  • Partner with technology teams to integrate data publishing with JP Morgan's cloud-based data ecosystems
  • Identify risks in data publishing workflows and develop mitigation strategies aligned with enterprise risk management
  • Contribute to the evolution of JP Morgan's data office by proposing innovative enablement solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or data strategy within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in enabling data publishing processes and strategies in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCAR, and Basel III impacting data handling in banking
  • Experience with data cataloging tools and metadata management in a financial context
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, compliance, and business units
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data concepts to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA in a relevant discipline
  • Experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
  • Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics)
