Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end testing processes, including planning, execution, and reporting on control effectiveness and risk exposures
  • Identify emerging risks in financial transactions and compliance areas, recommending mitigation strategies to senior leadership
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business units, regulatory teams, and external auditors
  • Oversee a team of testers and analysts, providing guidance on best practices in risk management and compliance testing
  • Ensure alignment of testing programs with JP Morgan's enterprise risk framework and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze testing results to drive process improvements and enhance operational resilience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in compliance, operational risk management, or internal audit within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading testing programs for regulatory compliance and operational risks in a banking environment
  • Strong knowledge of global financial regulations such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and local Indian regulations including RBI guidelines
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships in a matrixed organization
  • Certification in risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISA) or compliance (e.g., CAMS) is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a focus on risk mitigation
