Key Responsibilities

  • Lead accessibility assessments for native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms to ensure compliance with global standards
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers to integrate accessibility features into JPMorgan Chase's banking apps
  • Conduct thorough audits and testing using automated and manual tools to identify and resolve accessibility barriers
  • Provide expert guidance on WCAG conformance and remediation strategies tailored to financial services user needs
  • Develop and maintain accessibility documentation, training materials, and best practices for the Digital Accessibility team
  • Monitor regulatory changes in accessibility laws (e.g., ADA, Section 508) and advise on their impact to JPMorgan's mobile ecosystem
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to mitigate risks in digital product accessibility for diverse customer bases
  • Mentor junior team members and foster an inclusive culture focused on accessible financial technology
  • Analyze user feedback and accessibility metrics to drive continuous improvements in mobile app experiences

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, with a focus on native mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  • In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and their application to mobile platforms
  • Proficiency in accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, or VoiceOver/TalkBack
  • Experience conducting accessibility audits and remediation for financial services applications
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements like Section 508 and ADA in the context of banking apps
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a large-scale financial institution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accessibility, UX Design, or related discipline
