You will conduct privacy impact assessments, manage incident response protocols, and drive employee training to foster a culture of compliance. Working closely with legal, cybersecurity, and product teams, you will advise on the privacy implications of emerging technologies, ensuring JP Morgan Chase remains a leader in ethical data handling. This role demands a proactive approach to monitoring regulatory changes, like updates to the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and translating them into actionable policies that mitigate risks without hindering innovation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of JP Morgan Chase's enterprise-wide data privacy program, ensuring alignment with global regulations and firm policies
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and impact analyses for new products, services, and technology initiatives in the financial services sector
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to enhance data protection measures and respond to regulatory inquiries
• Oversee privacy training programs and awareness initiatives for employees handling sensitive customer financial data
• Monitor and report on privacy metrics, incidents, and compliance status to senior leadership and regulatory bodies
• Drive continuous improvement of privacy governance frameworks, including policy updates and vendor management
• Advise on privacy implications of AI, machine learning, and digital banking innovations at JP Morgan Chase
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent privacy practices across regions, including the US and international markets
• Manage privacy incident response, including investigations and remediation in line with financial industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or risk management within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading privacy programs, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations
• Strong understanding of financial data handling, including PCI-DSS and SOX compliance requirements
• Experience in conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and managing data breach response protocols
• Certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy professional credential
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments in banking and capital markets

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (JD, MBA) with a focus on privacy law or cybersecurity
• Experience working at a large financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal privacy frameworks and tools
• Prior leadership in cross-functional teams involving legal, IT, and business units
• Knowledge of emerging privacy technologies such as privacy-enhancing computations
