  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to enhance data protection measures and respond to regulatory inquiries
  • Oversee privacy training programs and awareness initiatives for employees handling sensitive customer financial data
  • Monitor and report on privacy metrics, incidents, and compliance status to senior leadership and regulatory bodies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or risk management within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading privacy programs, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations
  • Strong understanding of financial data handling, including PCI-DSS and SOX compliance requirements
  • Experience in conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and managing data breach response protocols
  • Certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy professional credential
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments in banking and capital markets

  • Advanced degree (JD, MBA) with a focus on privacy law or cybersecurity
