Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients in the payments sector, serving as their primary point of contact at JP Morgan Chase
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Canadian payments market to drive revenue growth
  • Provide expert advice on JP Morgan's payment solutions, including wire transfers, ACH, and innovative digital payment platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product, risk, and compliance to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs
  • Monitor client portfolios to ensure high satisfaction, proactively addressing issues and recommending enhancements
  • Conduct market analysis and client needs assessments to align JP Morgan's offerings with evolving payment trends in Canada
  • Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and reports to senior stakeholders and clients
  • Ensure all activities comply with JP Morgan's risk management standards and Canadian regulatory frameworks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in relationship management within the financial services industry, with a focus on payments or treasury services
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships in the Canadian market, particularly with corporate and institutional clients
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, including SWIFT, ACH, and real-time payment networks relevant to Canada
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements in Canadian banking, such as those from OSFI and FINTRAC
  • Fluency in English; French language proficiency is highly advantageous for Quebec-based clients
  • Ability to travel as needed within Canada to meet client needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related discipline

  • Certification in treasury management (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional - CTP)
