Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and borrower due diligence for PLP participants to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with wealth advisors and relationship managers to structure customized lending solutions for high-net-worth clients
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to recommend appropriate loan terms and pricing
  • Monitor ongoing borrower portfolios, identifying potential risks and opportunities for portfolio optimization
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and clients on lending strategies and performance
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's internal policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines in all advisory activities
  • Support the development of innovative capital advisory products tailored to private banking needs
  • Liaise with legal, compliance, and risk teams to facilitate smooth transaction execution

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or lending within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of borrower credit analysis, loan structuring, and risk assessment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank, Basel III, and SEC guidelines relevant to private lending
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with high-net-worth clients
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or certifications like CFA or CPA
  • Experience working in a private bank environment at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan's Private Label Program (PLP) or similar bespoke lending products
