Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary Trust Officer for high-net-worth clients within JP Morgan Chase's Global Trusts & Estates Practice, managing the administration of complex trusts and estates
  • Advise clients on trust structuring, estate planning strategies, and wealth transfer techniques to optimize tax efficiency and asset protection
  • Oversee the preparation and review of trust documents, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including attorneys, tax advisors, and investment managers to deliver integrated wealth management solutions
  • Monitor trust portfolios, conduct periodic reviews, and provide performance reporting to clients and beneficiaries
  • Handle fiduciary duties such as distributions, account reconciliations, and resolution of beneficiary disputes
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and regulatory requirements in all trust activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including legal firms and accounting professionals
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities to expand trust services within the client base

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or wealth management within the financial services industry
  • Active certification as a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. trust laws, tax regulations, and estate planning principles
  • Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships and complex trust structures
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations
  • Experience with trust accounting systems and financial reporting in a banking environment
