Key Responsibilities

  • Lead credit coverage for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients and properties across EMEA and APAC regions
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis, including financial due diligence, valuation of real estate assets, and risk identification
  • Develop and recommend credit structures, pricing, and risk mitigation strategies for wholesale lending deals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment banking, legal, and compliance, to execute transactions
  • Monitor ongoing portfolio performance, identifying early warning signs and recommending remedial actions
  • Prepare detailed credit memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and regulatory submissions
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical risks impacting real estate in EMEA and APAC
  • Support business development by providing credit insights to enhance client relationships and originate new deals
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and global standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in real estate finance within wholesale banking
  • Strong understanding of real estate markets in EMEA and APAC regions
  • Proficiency in credit analysis, including financial modeling and risk assessment for property portfolios
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in international financial services, such as Basel III or local APAC/EMEA standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-regional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Real Estate
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase in wholesale credit roles
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language spoken in EMEA or APAC (e.g., Mandarin, Arabic)
  • Certification in credit risk management (e.g., CFA, FRM)
