Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for wholesale clients, including large corporates and financial institutions
  • Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to identify potential risks
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models to anticipate emerging risks in the portfolio
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and senior stakeholders to recommend credit limits and structures
  • Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies
  • Participate in stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate portfolio resilience
  • Support the integration of ESG factors into credit risk evaluations
  • Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies and early warning indicators
  • Stay abreast of global market developments and their impact on wholesale credit exposures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in wholesale banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment methodologies
  • Proficiency in regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, CRD IV, and European banking regulations
  • Fluency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent in risk management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
