Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments for wholesale clients, including corporates, financial institutions, and sovereigns
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models, incorporating quantitative and qualitative factors to evaluate borrower creditworthiness
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and business teams to provide risk insights that support lending decisions and portfolio management
  • Monitor credit portfolios for early warning signs of deterioration and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Prepare detailed credit memos, risk reports, and presentations for senior management and regulatory submissions
  • Participate in the ReEntry program's training modules on JPMorgan's risk management frameworks and tools
  • Engage in stress testing and scenario analysis to assess potential impacts on credit exposures
  • Contribute to the enhancement of credit risk policies and procedures in alignment with global standards
  • Build relationships across risk, compliance, and business functions to foster a robust risk culture
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to credit risk strategy and regulatory compliance in the EMEA region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of prior professional experience in financial services, particularly in credit risk or related areas
  • Extended career break of at least two years, with a strong desire to relaunch career in wholesale credit risk
  • Demonstrated understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as those relevant to European markets are advantageous
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
