Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of payment operations analysts in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of wholesale payments within the ACH Ops team
• Oversee daily processing of ACH transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Analyze payment data trends to identify bottlenecks and implement process optimizations to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology and compliance, to drive innovation in digital payments
• Monitor and mitigate operational risks in payment processing, developing contingency plans for disruptions
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
• Prepare reports and dashboards on payment performance metrics for senior management at JP Morgan Chase
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's global standards for payment security and fraud prevention
• Coordinate with external partners and clearing houses to resolve payment discrepancies and exceptions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payment operations, preferably in wholesale payments or ACH processing
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams within financial services, with a focus on operational efficiency
• Strong understanding of payment lifecycle management, including regulatory compliance in the banking sector
• Experience with automated clearing house (ACH) systems and digital payment technologies
• Ability to analyze complex payment data and implement process improvements
• Proficiency in risk management practices specific to wholesale payment operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification in payments or financial operations, such as Certified Payments Professional (CPP)
• Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of Philippine banking regulations and international payment standards (e.g., ISO 20022)
• Prior exposure to agile methodologies in operational teams
• Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
