Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end equity plan administration for corporate clients, including grant processing, vesting, and exercise fulfillment
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing expert guidance on equity compensation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to innovate and optimize equity plan solutions tailored to client needs in the Japanese market
  • Ensure compliance with local Japanese regulations and JP Morgan Chase's global standards for equity management
  • Analyze equity plan performance metrics and prepare reports for clients and senior management
  • Facilitate equity plan enrollments, distributions, and tax reporting for participants
  • Support the development of new equity products and services to enhance client satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends in equity compensation and advise clients on best practices
  • Coordinate with technology teams to implement system enhancements for efficient plan management
  • Contribute to risk management by identifying and mitigating potential issues in equity plan executions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in equity plan management, stock plan administration, or related financial services operations
  • Strong understanding of equity compensation plans, including RSUs, stock options, and ESPPs
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English languages, with business-level fluency in both
  • Knowledge of Japanese financial regulations and securities laws relevant to equity plans
  • Experience with client-facing roles in a banking or financial services environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with strict confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA or equivalent certification in finance
  • Prior experience working at a global investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Familiarity with equity management software such as E*TRADE or Fidelity systems
  • Experience in cross-border equity plan administration for multinational clients
