Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in private markets for workplace retirement plans and institutional clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at corporations, plan sponsors, and financial advisors
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive adoption of JP Morgan's private market investment solutions
  • Conduct in-depth presentations and product demonstrations highlighting the value of alternative investments in diversified portfolios
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including investment management and product specialists, to tailor solutions for client needs
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to position JP Morgan's offerings effectively
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and onboarding
  • Track and report on business development metrics, pipeline progress, and revenue targets
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure compliant sales practices
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the Workplace Solutions team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development or sales within the financial services industry, with a focus on private markets or alternative investments
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals in workplace retirement plans or institutional investment solutions
  • Deep knowledge of private equity, private credit, and other alternative asset classes
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector, including SEC and ERISA compliance

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events
