  • Advise senior management on tax implications of business initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and operational expansions in the financial services sector
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies such as Revenue Commissioners in Ireland
  • Develop and implement tax risk management frameworks to mitigate exposure in areas like withholding taxes and international transactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Taxation or CPA equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory within the financial services industry
  • Deep expertise in Irish and international tax regulations, including EU directives, VAT, and cross-border taxation for multinational corporations
  • Proven track record of leading tax teams in a corporate environment, with experience in managing tax audits and regulatory interactions
