Do you enjoy turning complex Jira Cloud setups into simple, scalable solutions that support real business needs? At JYSK Head Office in Aarhus, you will work close to agile teams and Agile Release Trains, helping a global retail organisation get the most out of Jira Cloud.

In this role, you become part of our IT Delivery area and a specialised tooling team, where collaboration, reliability, and a practical mindset are valued. You will work hands-on with Jira Cloud and JAVA, balancing daily support with continuous improvement of our agile tooling landscape.

As a Jira Cloud Specialist you will join our agile tooling team and optimise Jira Cloud across the organisation. The role combines technical mastery, Atlassian experience, knowledge of Agile best practices, and end-user collaboration to ensure that our Jira/tooling setup support business needs and Agile Release Trains.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As Jira Cloud Specialist, you will help drive the evolution of our Jira ecosystem—maximising efficiency, automating workflows, and empowering teams across our SAFe-inspired organisation. You will be one of our go-to expert for Jira administration and improvements, ensuring our Agile Release Trains run smoothly. 

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

  • Providing expertise in Jira Cloud configuration, automation, and scripting
  • Implementing features to improve transparency, usability, security, and workflows
  • Handling ad-hoc Jira Cloud support requests, including scripting and plug-ins
  • Applying scaled agile knowledge to set up projects, teams, and workflows
  • Documenting best practices and supporting agile teams

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • has solid experience with JAVA development and at least two years of Jira-related work
  • Has hands-on experience with Jira Cloud configuration, automation, and scripting (e.g. Jira Automation, Groovy (JAVA))
  • Has worked with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence in agile environments
  • Works independently while actively involving and collaborating with others
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understands agile practices and how tooling supports Agile Release Trains
  • Balances practical solutions with a sound technical understanding
